Why You Should Try Private Yoga Lessons


If I had one wish for everyone who is interested in yoga, it is that they would all be able to take a private yoga class.  There's nothing quite like it..

Have you ever attended a group yoga class only to leave feeling like it was a great class but not exactly what you were needing?  

Or maybe you haven't even made it to class yet because you feel you're not capable of what may be require due to never doing yoga before or because you are dealing with an injury or illness?  

Or maybe something in your heart, mind, or body was sparked in a class and you'd like to dive deeper into what this means to you.

Through yoga I've come to learn just how integrated the body is with the mind and emotions and how the body gives us subtle (or not so subtle) cues as to where the imbalances lie.  If we take the time to listen to our bodies, we can begin to understand where we need to focus our attention to maintain health or heal.  Although you may find group classes help you with this some, it's hard for specific questions, injuries, or things going on in your life to be addressed. Private lessons are designed just for you and what's going on right this moment in your body and life.  The teacher has the time to talk to just you, to listen, and to observe the best ways to offer tools that will benefit YOU.  Added bonus - classes are schedule around your life, not the other way around.

Private lessons often include:

The beautiful thing about a yoga practice is it is in your hands.  Yoga gives you back your power to know what exactly it is you need and offers attainable tools to strengthen, rebalance, heal, cope, grieve, and live the most luminous lives possible. There's something about having the guidance of a well trained yoga teacher's focus exactly on you and what's going on in your life, mind, body, and heart that is deeply cathartic, enriching, and often eye opening.
